Web2 nov. 2024 · And sure enough, there is a major problem with macOS Monterey. It seems to be leaking memory. First, let me explain what a memory leak is. This is a scenario in which a specific process or application consumes abnormally high amounts of memory or RAM if left running for a very long time. And that’s what I am seeing. Posted December 15, 2024 (edited) just to report, the memory leak problem is still present in 12.1 (OC 0.7.6) For example when opening the same programs on 11.6.2 using 5GB of Ram; on 12.1 will be using 9.5GB of Ram. 16GB of ram is not enough for Monterey to run smoothly under moderate workload, I guess will need 32GB. click new folder
