WebJul 24, 2015 · The first home (Hackley's) was much more ornate than Hume's. The woodwork and detail are incredible, maybe even a bit overdone, but still marvelous to see. The Hume home is laid out in a similar style but had more "modern" updates since the family lived there much longer. The homes are connected by a barn that both men shared.
